CVRC utilizes volunteers to staff the after-hours crisis line. An agency cell phone is provided to volunteers who will answer calls that come in after business hours. Volunteers would provide emotional support, information, referrals, and advocacy to victims that call the hotline.
CVRC provides advocacy training necessary to become a volunteer advocate - no previous training, experience, or education is required.
